You guys are the best!

I did it. I weighed on that blasted scale. It was just as I’d expected-I gained that darn old pound back! All day, I kept wondering how it happened, I’d felt so good and did everything so right! I was pretty bummed, even considered eating the whole pan of brownies. (I resisted, thank you very much!)

Then I got on here and see all my buddies cheering me on and giving me my positive strokes so I feel better! Thanks you guys! I’m motivated to hang in there and I’m headed to the treadmill as soon as I get off of here!!

I’m kinda scared!

Well, I’d like to report more weight loss but I’m kinda scared to get on the scale.  I’ve been eating good, exercising and I feel great. I’m just afraid that the last pound was a fluke!! I really love all the positive comments and “atta girls” Thanks buddies!!

I only ate one!

Wow, how did I do it?

I was going to really smart and eat a big salad or something filling before the party. I knew they would be serving one of my weaknesses-PIZZA.  Well, with the rush to get ready, drop off one kid to his friend’s and make sure another kid was going to get home safely-I forgot to eat my healthy filler! Imagine my horror when out came the pizza lady carrying these two hot, melty cheese italian dreams!!  I panicked for a moment. I thought about skipping out, but I was paying the bill so that was a bad idea! I thought maybe I’d just not eat at all, but it would be 2 more hours before I was home in the safety net of my healthy food and I was hungry.  So, very gingerly I scooped up the smallest piece I could find. I savored every morsel of that pizza pie wonder. Man, I really wanted another slice (or two or three). But I didn’t budge, I only ate one! Phew, that was close.

No Zumba!

So I get up early to go to my 6:30am Zumba fitness class and the teacher has flaked so class is cancelled. What a disappointment! I really wanted to climb back in my warm bed and snooze a few before I had to get ready for work but I knew I had to do something so I could blog about it tonight!! After doing my 100 crunches, (thanks Captain) I got on the old treadmill. Idaho is still pretty cold,  and it was dark so I was forced to do the treadmill. I really hate the treadmill. I can walk all day when it’s outside but inside? Ugh, torture. I did my egg beaters and an apple for breakfast, salad and taco soup for lunch, then a dangerous cream cheesy chicken dinner. I did well with the chicken dinner though-kept it small and had another salad and apple to fill up. Later I had my weight loss drink for a snack and didn’t need to eat again! Tomorrow I weigh-wish me luck!!

I love Buddy Slim!!

I think Buddy Slim is magical!

I am not lying when I say that for the last year I have tried to lose this extra weight. I spent the entire summer working out at the gym 6 days a week, ate 1200 calories a day, drank tons of water, etc etc etc. I didn’t lose a thing.  I have been so discouraged by this.So here I am, I join this Buddy Slim and read these great stories and read blogs from Nancy who is inspiration alone!  Don’t ask me how or why, I’m doing everything the same as I have been but today when I stepped on the scale-ta da!!! I lost a pound! I am really encouraged that possibly these extra pounds might actually come off!! Thank you Nancy for your sensational blog!!

Okay Buddies, I made it through my first day of the new diet. I think one of my new plans is to drink my weight loss drink just before dinner, instead of for breakfast. I made egg beaters scrambled eggs with half an english muffin and it seemed to hold me until lunch. The drink is delicioso and filling so if I drink one just before dinner, maybe I won’t snarf so much for dinner!
